Officials:
Since the establishment of the Italian Football Federation on the 15 March 1898 the position of the General Secretary played always an important part in the functioning of the Federation, thus the whole football structure of Italy, by administering the everyday functions of the Federation. In fact, the General Secretary, together with the President and the Vice-President can be called the real heart and mind of the Italian Football Federation.

Unlike the position of the President, the position of the General Secretary rarely passed through difficult times. In fact, this only happened in 1925 when a Commission had to be created to administer the Federation and in the mid-1980's when the Federation was administered by Acting Secretaries.
